Bekelech is married and has six children. Her prolapse had been bothering her for three years but is now gone and she is healing!
Asenakech is only 35 but has eight children. Her prolapse has been bothering her for four years but is now in the past.
Zenabech is 55 years old and has had a challenging life. She’s widowed and five of her eight children have passed away. Despite the pain that life has brought her over these years, she is now free from her prolapse which has been bothering her for the past six years.
Berehanesh is married with four children. Her prolapse has been bothering her for the past year and it had become quite severe. The team did a great job and now she’s prolapse-free and beginning the healing process.
Fanay is 38 years old, married, and has six children. Her prolapse had been bothering her for the last two years and it is now a thing of the past.
Belaynesh is 40 years old, married and has seven children. For the past year she has been dealing with her prolapse but is now prolapse-free.
Ayelech had nine children but sadly, only three are still alive. She is married and her prolapse had been bothering her for the past year, but no more!
Awashe is 68 years old and widowed after giving birth to 10 children. She is now free of her prolapse!
Awashe is 50 years old, has 12 children and is widowed. She had her surgery and is recovering nicely.
Ayelech is 40 years old, married and has six children. She was excited to have her surgery and get home to her family as soon as possible!
Meselech is married. She’s 40 years old and has had 7 children, six of whom are still living. She is now prolapse free!
Dinbabe is 45 years old, married and has had six children. Sadly only three are still living. She was brought by her oldest daughter who took excellent care of her. After three years of suffering, she is now free of her prolapse.
Etiye is over sixty years old and has been struggling with prolapse for the past year. She’s widowed with seven children and is now at home, free from her prolapse.
Adise is 45 years old with five living children after giving birth to seen. She has had her prolapse for three years and is now free from it. Thank you for helping her!
Samane has ten children and is 40 years old. Her prolapse has been bothering her for two years and it is now in the past!
Ayelech is 35 years old with three children. She has been suffering with her prolapse for four years and it is now a thing of the past!
Demekech is 40 years old and has six children. She had been suffering with prolapse for three years but is now home and prolapse free.
Meaza is 60 years old with four children. She is widowed and her prolapse has been a problem for four years. She is now prolapse free!
Ashike is forty years old and has one child. She is married and over the past three years her prolapse has gotten very severe. She was able to have a minor procedure done to prepare her for another surgery down the road. We will see her name again as she is on the road to healing.
Alemitu is 35 years old, has six children and is married. Her prolapse was severe but is now healed and she is back at home.
Gatane, who is married with nine children, had a severe prolapse for three years. She is now prolapse free!
Abezash is 46 years old and married with two living children after giving birth to three. Amazingly, her prolapse had been bothering her for 12 years but she was unaware that there was help available. She’ll return home where the word will quickly spread of what the hospital is available to offer.
Cherenet is now prolapse free. She had been living with her prolapse for the past year. She’s married with four children and will be able to celebrate with her family as a changed woman.
Desta is married with eight living children after giving birth to 10. Her prolapse had been bothering her for the past six years and she had to go through a lot to finally have surgery. The doctors had to address several other medical issues over two months and FINALLY, she was ready for surgery. It went very well and she is now prolapse free!
Aster is 50 years of age. Her husband is still alive as are seven of the eight children that she gave birth to. Her prolapse had been part of her life for 10 years, but thanks to each of you, that is no longer the case. She’s currently resting comfortably.
Mengiste is 45 years old. She’s married with eight children after giving birth to nine. She had been troubled by her prolapse for the past three years but is now prolapse free and resting.
Tamenech is 60 years old and separated from her husband. She has given birth to six children with four of them still surviving. She has an infectious smile and despite some from surgery is still smiling. Thank you for helping her!
Hana is 54 years old. She has been pregnant five times and four of her children have survived. She’s married and first noticed her prolapse about one year ago. Fortunately, it was relatively mild and the doctors were able to completely address her issues.
Bezale is 35 years old. She is married with one child and prior to going to the hospital she had been struggling with her prolapse for the past three years. She’s now prolapse-free and back home resting with her family.
Berhanesh is married with three children. After struggling with prolapse for six of her 35 years, she is now prolapse-free and resting.
Worke is 45 years old and widowed. She have given birth to seven children and six of them are still alive. Her prolapse had been bothering her for the past four years and she’s also now back home with her family.
Akale is 55 years old, widowed, and has given birth to nine children with five of them surviving. Her prolapse was quite severe and had been present for at least five years. Thank you for helping her!
Bafete is a widow and has delivered nine children. Fortunately, all are living. She has suffered from prolapse for 10 years and is thrilled to be free of her prolapse! Thank you so very much for making this possible for her.
Ayelech is 45 and married with 8 children - wow! She first noticed her prolapse only five months ago but in that short time it had become quite severe. She is now prolapse-free and ready to start a new chapter of her life. You can tell from her picture that she already has a wonderful smile and hopefully we added to that a bit.
Atome is 58. Her prolapse had been present for three years and had become quite severe. She’s widowed and lives with one of the seven children that she has given birth to. Thank you for helping her!
Mokone has also given birth to seven children but only four of them have survived. She is widowed and after one year of dealing with her prolapse, she left the hospital a new woman.
Aster has eight children with her husband. Her prolapse had been bothering her for five years before coming to Soddo Christian Hospital. She is now prolapse free!
Dashikare is 60 years old and has given birth to ten children and eight of them are still alive. She lives with her husband and has been dealing with the effects of her prolapse for a decade! Today, after more than ten years of waiting - she is prolapse free. Thank you!
Tarafe has a complicated story. She actually had surgery almost four years ago but unfortunately her prolapse returned. This is always a risk, no matter which surgery is done but the surgery that she had done only has a failure rate of 1-2% and she fell into that group. She needed a BIG surgery and was slow to wake up because of all the anesthetic. But, all is well. She stayed at the hospital for a few days to heal before she went home. She has five children and many grandchildren waiting on her return!
Demekech is 41 years old and came to hospital from a good distance away. She is widowed and has eight children. She also had a “big” surgery - which has the best chance of long-term success and we pray that everything will heal well this time around. Thank you for helping her!

Amarech, our 500th surgery recipient, is 60 years old and has eight children, all of whom, by the grace of God, have survived. She’s widowed and has suffered for six years from her prolapse before going to see the doctors. She’s now prolapse free, resting and recovering!
